NEWS UPDATE! - 12th August 2009

MEDICAL COUNCIL OF INDIA (MCI) OFFICIALLY RECOGNISES THE
SPECIALTY OF EMERGENCY MEDICINE IN INDIA!

The amendment notification of the MCI, New Delhi dated July 21st 2009 shows
the addition of two new specialties, Infectious Diseases & Emergency Medicine.
