We found out that our website is accessible in almost all countries except in India and surrounding countries. Even here, there are only intermittent disruptions lasting for less than an hour. We working with people at our Asia Pacific datacenter to fix this.

Six More Medical Colleges in India Start MD (Emergency Medicine)

Six more medical colleges have started the 3 year postgraduate MD (Emergency Medicine) training with formal permission from the Medical Council of India (MCI). This brings the total number of medical colleges with MD (EM) to 14. The current total seats in EM stands at 25. This may seems a minuscule number but to start 25 seats in a span of 3 years, the MCI seems to be really pushing the EM thing! Good for people of India!

And! ... one of the students claimed to have paid 90 lakh (170000 USD) to join this MD (EM) under the management quota! If we are to believe this, emergency medicine will cross MD (Radiology) and MS (Orthopedics) to take over as the Most Sought After Postgraduate Specialty, earlier than our predicted time frame (5 years from 2011).

But the talk of commitment of students who are willing to shell out a crore of rupees for a PG seat, is a completely different discussion!
