10-Aug-06 Apollo Hospitals-Hyderabad will now allow doctors to take up the MCEM (Member of College of Emergency Medicine, United Kingdom) Part A examination at Hyderabad from December 2006 onwards. Those who clear part A are eligible to enroll for the 3 year postgraduate emergency medicine training program and MCEM part B and C exams at Apollo-Hyderabad. The next MCEM Part A is scheduled to be held on December 14th 2006 at Apollo Hyderabad. Candidates will have to submit their applications before November 1st. The exam fee is Rs:30000/- More about Apollo Hyderabad, MCEM examination _________________________ 30-Jul-06 There is news going around that postgraduate courses in EM (MD in Emergency Medicine) are getting recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in a few colleges from next year onwards. The MCI official website makes no mention of it. Whether this is true or not remains to be seen.
